ABOUT GRANDPA HOUSE

Since the 1930s, our family has been connected to coffee in the hills of Coorg.

Grandpa House takes its name from C.K. Chinappa, whose life was shaped by family, service, and a deep connection to Coorg’s coffee-growing traditions. After serving in the Indian Army, he returned home and dedicated himself to developing the family estate, building the foundation that inspires Grandpa House today.

Growing up around coffee taught us that some of life’s best moments are often the simplest. A familiar aroma in the morning. Conversations shared over a cup. Time spent with family and friends. Traditions passed down from one generation to the next.

Grandpa House was created to celebrate those moments.

While our roots are in Coorg coffee, the idea behind Grandpa House is larger than coffee itself. It is about slowing down, appreciating simple pleasures, and bringing a sense of warmth, comfort, and familiarity into everyday life.

In a world that is always moving faster, we believe there is value in slowing down and enjoying the simple things.

Bringing Back the Comfort of Home.
